Heart of hearts
My signature ceremony package, allowing me to use all of my expertise and experience to create a fully bespoke, ceremony which will be the heartbeat of your wedding day. Every aspect of the ceremony will be authentically customised to reflect you both – your personalities, your values and your love story. This ceremony can be traditional, themed, spiritual, religious, modern or a mix of all of these! I will guide you in choosing appropriate music, readings/poems/prayers, and legal wording. We will also work together to include a unity ritual(s) that symbolically conveys the values of your marriage that are important. If there are family members you would like to honour, people you would like to include in remembrance or children to be involved (especially for blended families) then I can advise on how to do so. We can include creative roles for pets too! I will create a marriage certificate that can be signed as part of the ceremony, and you will receive a keepsake copy of the full ceremony. I will sign and then file your marriage license with the appropriate probate court.This package ensures you have full control of the script as we will review, and rewrite as often as is necessary for perfection to be achieved! I will offer advice on writing your vows or will happily write them for you (separately of course to keep them a surprise until the day!) Includes unlimited phone calls/emails after the initial consultation. Includes a rehearsal should you require one and includes travel within 30 miles of John's Creek/Alpharetta (any additional travel and/or accommodation costs will be discussed at time of booking) I will only book one 'Heart of Hearts' ceremony on any given day so you can be assured that your ceremony has my undivided attention!

It's important that you find out whether we 'click' and whether I am a good fit for the type of ceremony you'd like. Hopefully, you'll know your date at this stage so I can check my availability with you. We can have this initial chat over the phone or on Zoom if you prefer.

Getting to know you
A favorite part of my role as an officiant is finding out all about you! Meeting wherever suits you (but I'm always partial to coffee and cake!) this is the stage at which I'd gather all of the key information I would need to begin to craft your ceremony for you. Your love story is at the heart of what we'll be creating so I'll need you to share it with me! I would ask you to complete a questionnaire for me, in your own time, to support the information you give me during this meeting.

Next I will write your bespoke ceremony script to include your music, reading and ritual choices and your vows if I'm writing them for you. I will also, where practically possible, visit your venue to help me get a feel for where we will be and to meet the staff there. And, of course, if you have a planner, I will stay in touch with them too. You can call, text, chat to me as much as you need to during this time and you can review the ceremony script as many times as you'd like in advance of the final script being ready 4 weeks ahead of your ceremony.

The Big Day!

We may arrange to have a rehearsal before the ceremony. On the day itself, I will arrive at least 60 minutes before your ceremony so that I can ensure everything is in place to ensure the ceremony runs smoothly. I will check that anyone immediately involved in the ceremony knows what they are saying and doing and when! It will then be my privilege to deliver your ceremony for you!
